Forest Park is a beautiful, planned community of 165 single family homes. We are located in Strongsville, Ohio within walking distance to the Mill Stream Run Reservation just south of Pearl road.

Forest Park was envisioned by Bob Schmitt Homes in the late 70’s but we continue to grow. The first home was sold in September of 1976 and the last new home sold, closed escrow inthe summer of 2005. Forest Park homes range in size from 1,002 to almost 2,800 sq.ft. Because we are nestled in the heart of the Cleveland Metroparks system, we enjoy a wide range of outdoor activity from hiking and biking paths to an archery range.

Our community is governed by a Homeowners Association.  Among the many volunteer owners who give their time to help provide activities, protect and preserve our “Common Areas”, maintain architectural standards and promote safety for our residents, is a 5 member Board of Directors and a dedicated group of committees. Our Activities Committee provides many fun events, like our Annual 4th of July party, Christmas party, and other community and holiday events. Forest Park also has a joint swim team the nearby Ledge Park community for children ages 5 – 18 to participate in. Also included on our roster of committees is the Architectural Review committee.

Because Forest Park is only 165 homes, we still maintain a close knit, small town feel.  Many of the residents here were searching for a quiet and safe environment to raise their families and take advantage of the highly recognized Strongsville school district. Forest Park is the perfect place to do that.  The rural, almost country feel of being in an out of the way location combined with the horse ranches that line the entrance to our community, friendly people and fun things to do , make it one of the best places you’ll ever find to live.
